The South Florida Miami Art Week is in full swing, with Art Basel Miami Beach taking center stage in the area. Parties in the region have attracted numerous prominent figures, such as singer Janelle Monáe and filmmaker Harmony Korine.

Harmony Korine presented his new design collective “Edglrd” to around 600 people, including Pop star Camila Cabello, at a luxurious party inside El Palenque nightclub in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood. The event featured visual effects and animations mimicking Korine’s film “Aggro Dr1ft” and was hosted by Boiler Room, an online broadcaster and club promoter.

On another night, artist Mickalene Thomas celebrated Art Basel Miami Beach with an event at the Miami Beach Edition hotel. Janelle Monáe gave a special performance wearing a custom cape designed by Rey Ortiz and sang several of her songs while the crowd cheered.

Meanwhile, the Gagosian gallery hosted a more relaxing atmosphere with a sophisticated soiree at the Freehand Miami hotel before Art Basel Miami Beach officially opened. The setting was designed to channel the relaxed feel of Italy’s Le Sirenuse hotel, with the proprietor in attendance. The party attracted numerous A-list guests, including actor Jeremy Pope, photographer Tyler Mitchell, and artist Chloe Wise.
